St. Paul is one of the most literate cities in the nation and has been home to world class writers like F. Scott Fitzgerald, Sinclair Lewis, August Wilson, Vince Flynn, Wm. Kent Krueger, Kao Kalia Yang and a rich collective of poets, publishers, bookstores and educators who have created a vibrant community of dedicated readers.
On this tour you'll learn how the city influenced and shaped various writers and how they in turn, captured the city in stories that have been told around the world. Listen to selections from of some of their finest works on this lovely walk through the historic Hill District. With special focus on Fitzgerald’s past homes and haunts.
